'Hillary, Marry Me, Baby'

It's all designed to make her more human, you see.

Seriously, though, if this sort of fawning puffery is what we're going to be subjected to, especially after the crying stunt last Monday, expect it to get even more nauseating that this, from both her campaign and the media.

Play of the Day: Clinton gets proposal
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton wanted to talk about the economy. A voter in the audience wanted to talk marriage.

After wrapping up a speech outlining her economic stimulus proposal, the New York senator took questions from the crowd. The first question from one man was: "Hillary, marry me, baby."

The packed union hall loved it and applauded. Clinton smiled and told the man, gently, no.

"That is certainly the kindest offer I've had in a while," she said to laughter.

She quickly added, "I'd probably be arrested."
Ugh.

Hot Air links. Thanks!
