The UK's Justice Secretary (An oxymoron in every sense of the word) Jack Straw has censured a magistrate who refused to deal with a case in which a Muslim woman wore a face veil to court.
Straw issued a formal reprimand to Magistrate Ian Murray even though Mr Straw himself famously asks women to remove their veils in his constituency office. Mr Straw said in October 2006 that veils were "a statement of separation and difference". Philip Davies, Tory MP for Shipley, a West Yorkshire constituency with a strong Muslim presence, said: "He is a complete hypocrite".
Of course he is a complete hypocrite and a pathetic dhimmi to boot. Straw chooses to censure the magistrate who rightly made a stand against the intrusion of Islam into the British courtroom. Had Straw any credibility, he would have supported Ian Murray and censured the Muslim woman who had shown such contempt for the Court concerned. This is how militant Islam is emboldened, it sees craven hypocrites such as the UK Justice Secretary rolling over to accept Islamic codes rather than standing up for the values of Great Britain.
As you can see from the attached image, it would be totally irresponsible to allow someone to come to court dressed from head to toe in Islamic garb. Yet that is exactly what Straw endorses!
